## Antes de enviar a solicitação

Envie JSON para POST https://api.genderapi.io/api/v2/gender. Use sua chave API existente em Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY e Content-Type: application/json. Cada solicitação é processada de forma independente.

Escolha seu idioma no exemplo de código. Configure GENDERAPI_API_KEY no ambiente do processo antes de executá-lo. Chaves ausentes ou não reconhecidas podem usar a avaliação IP compartilhada, portanto, confirme que meta.access.mode é api_key ao integrar uma conta.

## Gênero de um nome de usuário ou apelido

Use type: username para um nome de usuário ou apelido. Configure forceToGenderize como true para inferir o gênero a partir do significado de um alias como prenses, mesmo quando nenhum nome real puder ser extraído. O conjunto de dados é verificado primeiro. Uma previsão de apelido pode retornar um gênero mesmo quando name: null.

Execute estes exemplos em seu servidor. Configure GENDERAPI_API_KEY no ambiente de processo para sua chave API existente. Confirme que meta.access.mode é api_key: uma chave não reconhecida pode retornar à avaliação IP.

Cada solicitação de previsão é uma nova operação faturável, incluindo novas tentativas. Esses exemplos não repetem automaticamente. Verifique o status do faturamento antes de enviar outra solicitação.

As respostas HTTP 4xx e 5xx JSON preservam o corpo do erro e retornam um status de saída diferente de zero. Verifique code, action e meta.usage.billing_status antes de tentar novamente.

## Leia uma previsão de apelido

Este exemplo usa forceToGenderize: true. Se o conjunto de dados identificar um gênero, o custo será de 1 crédito. Caso contrário, a IA interpreta o pseudónimo e um pedido concluído custa 2 créditos no total, mesmo que o género permaneça desconhecido. Omita ai_mode ou configure-o como fallback. Usar off ou always junto com forceToGenderize retorna HTTP 422.

No modo apelido, é permitida uma previsão de gênero com name: null. Isso significa que nenhum nome real foi extraído, e não que a análise falhou. Se AI retornar um gênero, sample_count: null e confidence_kind: model_reported serão retornados. A pontuação não é uma probabilidade calibrada e não verifica a identidade pessoal.

Sem forceToGenderize, uma única pesquisa de nome de usuário ainda é padronizada para AI fallback comum para um total de 1 crédito, mas requer um nome real utilizável. Use options.ai_mode: off para processamento somente de conjunto de dados.
